Pamper Mom at Carowinds for Mother’s Day on Sunday
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 6, 2009) – Carowinds, the 112-acre combination amusement and water park located on the border of the Carolinas near Charlotte, will partner with WBAV and WPEG to present the largest Mother’s Day celebration ever seen at the park. On Sunday, May 10, pamper mom with a day at Carowinds, complete with a Mother’s Day brunch, fashion shows, fitness and nutrition tips, nail, make-up, skin care, and hair care advice, and more!
There is no better way to thank mom for all she has done than to shower her with a day of family fun and personal indulgence at Carowinds this Sunday. Local vendors, such as Belk™ and Mary Kay® Inc., will be on site at the park to showcase spring fashion and beauty products, in addition to providing tips and consultations for free. Carowinds will also host two fashion shows featuring the Fluffy Girls in the Carowinds Theatre. Mom will have the opportunity to participate in make-over demonstrations and receive a free facial as well—all while experiencing the Carolina’s premier entertainment capital!
