Inaugural Father’s Day Car Show to take place at Carowinds
Carowinds, a 112-acre combination amusement and water park located on the border of the Carolinas near Charlotte, will host its first annual Father’s Day Car Show on June 20-21, 2009. The show will include classic cars of various makes and models.
WHO: 1st Annual Father’s Day Car Show at Carowinds
WHAT: The Father’s Day Car Show is a showcase of Dad’s favorite classic cars! The cars will be judged and winners will be announced on Sunday, June 21. A 1-Day Car Registration is priced at $50.00 and a 2-Day Car Registration is $74.00, with additional cars registered for $20.00 each. Each price includes full-day admission to the park for one individual (additional car fees do not include park admission). Observers to the Car Show are able to purchase tickets for $33.99 at Carowinds.com only, which also includes full-day park admission.
WHERE: Carowinds Amusement Park, 14523 Carowinds Blvd; Charlotte, NC 28273. The Car Show will be held in the Paladium Amphitheatre plaza and parking lot which is located within the park near the North Gate entry, as well as select locations throughout the park.
WHEN: Saturday, June 20, 12pm-8pm and Sunday, June 21, 10am-3pm. Awards announced on Sunday, June 21.
