GROUP PICNIC PLANNER!

STEP 1: Choose Your Date
Please refer to the 2008 Park schedule for public operating days and confer with your Carowinds Account Manager for available dates and times.

STEP 2: Choose Your Mealtime
With your Account Manager, choose a mealtime (based on availability):

Groups over 1,200 guests may require longer Pavilion and Serving times. Carowinds reserves the right to split meal times in these instances.

STEP 3: Choose Your Menu
Menu options are listed below. Every picnic includes the following in addition to the menu items served: rolls, condiments, ice cream cups and unlimited Coca-Cola® products.

2008 Picnic Buffet Menus

The Blockbuster – All-beef Hamburgers (including fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions), Crispy Fried Chicken, Hot Dogs, Baked Beans and Potato Chips
The Great Country Feast – Hand-Pulled BBQ Pork, Crispy Fried Chicken, Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, and Potato Chips
The All-American – All-Beef Hamburgers (including fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions), Hot Dogs, Baked Beans and Potato Chips.
Ultimate Chicken Feast – Marinated Chicken Breast Sandwiches (including fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions), Hot Dogs, Green Beans and Potato Chips.
Southern Feast – Crispy Fried Chicken, Hot Dogs, Baked Beans and Potato Chips.

Add-On Menu Items

Premium Entrées – Roasted Chicken, Smoked Pork Ribs, Meat Lasagna, Vegetarian Lasagna and Veggie Burgers
Premium Sides – Broccoli & Cheese Casserole, Macaroni & Cheese, Kernel Corn, Mixed Green Salad with assorted dressings, Italian Rotini Pasta Salad, Chili Sauce and Potato Salad
Premium Desserts – Iced Sheet Cake (White or Chocolate), Frozen Lemonade, Apple Cobbler, Ice Cream Novelties, and Chocolate Chip Cookies
Premium Drink Packages – Dasani Bottled Water, Domestic or Premium Beer (keg) and Bottomless Soda Wristbands

STEP 4: Choose Your Options
Choose the features that make your picnic fun for everyone. Let us know in advance and we’ll provide at no extra cost:

• Use of PA system
• Bingo Machine and Cards (you must provide the caller)
• Tumbler or Fishbowl for door prize drawings (prizes not included)

• Balloon Artist - $150.00 per 1 ½ hours
• Visit from a famous Nickelodeon character - $30.00 per 20 minute visit
• Airbrush Face Painter - $250 per 1 ½ hours
• Caricature Artist - $150.00 per 1 ½ hours
• Park Merchandise - price dependant
• DJ to make your event swing - will call for quote
• Park Money - Give your group a day at the Park with money to spend! Park money is redeemable dollar-for-dollar in the Park! Ask your Account Manager for details.

Guidelines for a Great Group Picnic

• Your group will be billed based on 100% of your total guarantee (adult, junior/senior, season pass meals and soda wristbands) or your park gate count, whichever is greater.
• Your total guarantee of adults, junior/senior, and season pass holders is due in writing by noon, seven (7) business days prior to your event.
• If the number of guaranteed guests is not received by noon at least seven (7) days prior to the event, your outing is subject to cancellation or you will be billed for the full number of tickets you received.
• No food may be taken from the picnic pavilions. Guests are admitted to the pavilion once – no re-admittance is allowed.
• For security and safety reasons, Carowinds does not allow companies to bring in door prizes for give-a-ways. We recommend distributing certificates to the winners, which can be redeemed once they return to work. Hand-outs such as t-shirts, hats, Frisbees and the like are allowed and may be shipped to Carowinds in advance. Please discuss these details with your Account Manager prior to your event day.
